Adult Confirmation

That's great you're considering being confirmed, to give your willing consent to this gift of God's grace, and to serve as an adult Christian witness.

Here at St. John's we have an adult Confirmation program for those who:

___Are 18 years or older,
___Already been baptized Catholic (and provide a copy of the certificate),
___Already received Catholic First Communion,
___And if married, you're marriage is in good standing with the Church.

Part 1 of 2: Preparation entails enrolling and participating in one of our regular Bible studies (usually Monday evening or Tuesday afternoon) here in the Riffle Center at the Cathedral.

Part 2 of 2: Three follow-up sessions.

NOTE: The date of your potential confirmation will vary because 1) we have people coming in at various times of the year and 2) Confirmation is not a regular sacrament except for a couple or three times a year because it is usually conveyed by the Bishop.  For more information, please email [email protected]
