A message from St. John's Cathedral regarding COVID-19 Preparedness and Spiritual Solidarity

St John’s Cathedral facility cleaning preparedness:

Currently, every Monday morning the Cathedral pews are cleaned and sanitized. At this time we have asked our cleaning company to sanitize everything at 4' and below. The day chapel will be sanitized each day. On Wednesday, the pews will be sanitized and the Cathedral locked in preparation for the Chrism mass at 7 pm. Let’s all continue to do our part to keep our hands washed and sanitized as well.

The Cathedral is cleaned and sanitized every Monday morning.

Spiritual solidarity

To promote solidarity with those who do not have access at this time to the sacraments because of quarantine or suspended services, we will have exposition and adoration each day from 9 am to 12:00 noon (M-F) and 6:30 am-7:30 am on Saturdays. While social distancing is a good practice, let us use this opportunity to pray in solidarity, for everyone affected during this time.
