WELCOME to our website for the Roman Catholic Cathedral Parish of St. John the Evangelist. Our parish was founded in 1876, and when our Diocese of Boise (that embraces the State of Idaho) was established, St. John's became the Cathedral or "cathedra" (chair) of the Bishop. For about a century and a half, we have been the spiritual home for generations of Catholics, and for you too if you wish. We invite you into our faith community. Follow the links above for what we have on offer. It's YOUR Cathedral!
