St. Joseph's Catholic School

HISTORY. Our parish school is the oldest operating Catholic school in the state of Idaho since 1900. Named for St. Joseph, Jesus' adoptive father, our school educates from kindergarten through eight grade in seeking to supplement the primary educators of the children: the parent(s) in the ecclesia domestica or "church at home."

Bishop Kelly & St. Joseph’s School Family Subsidy Request:

Each year, the Cathedral of St. John receives over 100 requests from families seeking reduced tuition rates at Bishop Kelly High School and St. Joseph's School. We recognize the vital role that Catholic education plays in the development of our youth, and we are committed to providing the necessary support.

Families from Bishop Kelly and St. Joseph's School seeking reduced tuition rates are encouraged to reflect on what it means to be an active steward of our community when submitting their requests for approval. Your involvement not only strengthens our parish but also enriches the educational experiences of all students. Together, we can create an environment that upholds the principles of Catholic education and fosters the growth of our youth.

Stewardship is a way of life that recognizes and receives God’s gift with gratitude, cultivates them responsibly, shares them generously and sacrificially with others and stands before the Lord in a spirit of accountability.
