Welcome to the Religious Education (RE) program at the Cathedral Parish of St. John the Evangelist, a vibrant community where faith and family come together. Our Religious Education program caters to children in grades 1 through 5, inviting them to embark on a meaningful journey alongside their fellow child parishioners. To ensure that the seeds of faith take root and flourish into adulthood, it is essential to cultivate a strong connection between home and parish. This partnership has been shown to be vital for the continued vitality and growth of our parish community at St. John the Evangelist.

Our dedicated catechists are committed to excellence in their teaching, setting high standards for the lessons, assignments, and materials utilized in the classroom.

Our RE classes are thoughtfully structured to deepen each child's relationship with our loving Father. Through the exploration of Sacred Scripture, Church teachings, and the beauty of the Holy Liturgy, we provide an age-appropriate and engaging approach to faith formation.

Religious Education classes are held on most Sunday mornings from 9:15 am to 10:15 am for English and 11:45 am to 12:45 pm for Spanish. This convenient schedule ensures that families can also participate in one of our two morning Holy Masses before dedicating time to spiritual learning.
