The Sacrament of Anointing shows the concern that the Lord himself has for the bodily and spiritual welfare of teh sick, as the gospels testify. Thsi sacrament has its beginning in Christ ans is spoken of in the Letter of James. The Church, by the anointing of the sick and the prayer of the priests, entrusts those who are ill to the suffering and glorified Lord. The Church encourages the sick to contribute to the good of the People of God by freely uniting themselves to the Passino and Death of Christ. 

Request an Anointing

Anyone who is sick or preparing for medical treatment (i.e. surgery, chemotherapy) may request this sacrament. If you or a loved one would like to be anointed please call the parish office 208-342-3511 or email boisecathedral@gmail.com. Priests are also available on an emergency basis.
